New Google Bard Updates
The latest improvements have integrated Bard with Google’s suite of applications and services. The aim is to offer more tailored and effective responses. Powered by the upgraded AI model PaLM 2, Bard now works in tandem with Google apps to aid in tasks ranging from travel planning to writing product descriptions. Moreover, Bard Extensions, specifically for English-speaking users, allow the chatbot to display relevant information from Google products such as Gmail, Drive, YouTube, and more. Google emphasizes the security of these extensions, ensuring that personal data remains inaccessible to human reviewers and isn’t used for advertising or training Bard. With expanded language support, Bard’s capabilities now cover over 40 languages, catering to a wider user base.
Google AdSense Improvements
AdSense has also seen significant updates. Google’s focus has been on simplifying site management for publishers. With the introduction of real-time site ownership verification, publishers no longer have to endure the previously manual and time-consuming process. For those wary of displaying ads on their homepage, a new meta tag verification method has been introduced, allowing site verification without the standard AdSense code on the homepage. AdSense has also boosted its ads.txt monitoring. Publishers can now view the most recent crawl date and time for their ads.txt files and manually request a re-crawl, ensuring their ads.txt setup is functioning as intended.
