Wix, a leading web development platform, has joined forces with IndexNow to speed up content indexing on premium sites. Through a collaboration with Microsoft Bing, Wix provides a streamlined approach to alerting search engines about content updates. Using IndexNow, sites can directly inform search engines of content modifications, bypassing the slower methods of search engine crawling or sitemaps. Offenders who break this revised policy risk immediate Google Ads account suspension without any prior warning. Nevertheless, advertisers have the right to appeal if they deem the penalty unjust, reflecting Google’s commitment to combating deceptive advertising practices and maintaining user trust.

Microsoft Advertising Rolls Out 3 Generative AI Features

Microsoft is advancing its advertising offerings with three generative AI enhancements, reshaping user engagement with search engines and online advertisements. The forthcoming “Compare & Decide Ads” will cater specifically to the Bing Chat experience, enabling users to juxtapose options based on their criteria. Partnerships for the “Ads for Chat API” have been initiated with Snapchat’s My AI chatbot and Axel Springer’s product Hey_. Additionally, the innovative “Copilot” feature in Microsoft Advertising promises to assist advertisers by recommending optimal images, headlines, and descriptions, indicating a transformative shift for the advertising industry.
